The Analyst for Res & Lab Platforms analyzes pharma R&D business needs and translates them into requirements for informatics solutions to support ambitious research programs. Works closely with platform leads and project teams to assist in the execution of new capability development and delivery and carry out the onboarding of new users to existing platforms. Develops positive relationships with R&D scientists, system specialists and developers and plays a meaningful role in the timely delivery of user friendly informatics systems that meet specifications. Collect and analyze business requirements Compose and communicate user stories Participate in software development, deployment and maintenance activities Participate in capability roadmap development Responsible for a subset of project management activities such as Minimum Viable Product (MVP) design and sprint planning Qualifications Required:
BS in Life Sciences, Statistics or Computer Sciences Two years of pharma R&D experience Knowledge of Biologics Discovery and/or Development and general drug discovery process Basic knowledge of software development process Positive relationship building and communication skills Preferred:
Hands on experience in Biologics early research and drug discovery Familiar with Electronic Lab Notebooks, Laboratory Information Management/Lab Execution Systems, Inventory and Instrument Data Management solutions Knowledge of usability and user centered design Preferred area of study:
Biology with an emphasis on Molecular Biology, Protein Engineering, Genetics, Bioanalytical Development, Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences MS or PhD Other:
Travel (5%) - both national and international possible Key working relationships:
R&D scientists, scientific application owners, R&D Business Technology project delivery teams (internal); software supplier delivery team (external)
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
