The Senior Director, Compound Development Team Leader leads the global development of our assets in wAIHA (warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia) and BP (Bullous Pemphygoid), as part of the global compound Development Team in the Immunology Therapeutic Area, in alignment with R&D and commercial strategies to address the unmet needs of patients suffering from these immune mediated diseases. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and drive the design and execution of a robust cross-functional development strategy for the asset to meet the target product profile/quality standards, obtain regulatory approval, demonstrate value and achieve target reimbursement in wAIHA and BP Contribute to the overall strategy for the asset across a range of auto-immune diseases to drive the development and optimization of the asset Life cycle strategy in order to maximize the full potential of the asset Lead the multifunctional wAIHA/BP CDT team to drive compound development, enable effective strategy planning and decision making, and achieve governance strategic alignment with senior leaders Ensure effective planning to secure resources that the CDT needs to achieve its goals & objectives, and proactively anticipate and address strategic and operational needs and challenges to resolve critical risks and communicate to all stakeholders Ensure robust and strategically aligned publications of clinical trial, IIS and RWE study results globally Champion the product at all levels of J&J while bringing the portfolio perspective to the CDT Share learnings from the wAIHA and BP programs across DASs and TAs Contribute to CDT members development via feedback, coaching and talent development Represent CDT among external stakeholders Qualifications Required Minimum Education:
A doctoral degree in the life sciences, chemistry or medicine preferred (or MBA with bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life sciences). Required Years of Related
Experience:

years industry and / or academic experience and leading cross functional teams. Additional education and significant academic or industry experience in drug development is desirable, especially in immunology. Commercial & market access experience and acumen preferred. Deep knowledge of the drug development process, as well as the commercialization and market access landscape. Strong communication and influencing skills Ability to build and lead high performing cross functional and complex matrix team to effective decision making and delivering results, while building a positive team environment Skillfully cultivating and enabling meaningful internal and external network, collaborations and leadership input/endorsement by using adept communication, influencing, consensus building and conflict resolution Demonstrate understanding of big picture and technical proficiency to translates scientific and business concepts into short and long-term deliverables. Aptitude to lead innovation, challenging the status quo/assumptions while offering solutions Experience in rare diseases is a plus.
