Janssen Research & Development LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company, is recruiting for a Director, Data Science Portfolio Management - Immunology within Janssen Research & Development (JRD) Immunology Data Science organization. The primary location is flexible to Spring House, PA, Titusville, NJ, Boston, MA. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company. In this role, you will partner with compound development teams to define and prioritize a portfolio of high impact use cases in alignment with the Immunology TA strategy and the overall JRD Data Science strategy. Use cases include digital health endpoints, real-world evidence, bayesian and frequentist methods for go/no-go decision-making, and many more! Partner with compound development teams to identify opportunities to impact drug development with real-world evidence, digital health, go/no-go decision-making, and other use cases Partner with relevant Data Science colleagues to execute on key use cases Present to senior leadership on impactful use cases Support efforts to improve quantification of business impact/ROI of Immunology DS activities for the Immunology TA Qualifications Required
Qualifications:
MD, Ph.D., or Master's degree in Medicine, Biotechnology, Statistics, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Physics, Mathematics, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology, Biology or a related discipline. Strong understanding of drug development Experience with developing real-world evidence strategy. Proven project leadership in complicated context, able to influence and engage key strategic and technical partners Proven track record of leading in a matrixed organization Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills. Bonus points for:
Background in biostatistics with the ability to think strategically Experienced with Immunology, clinical practice or drug development Experience in observational research Experience with meta-analytic methods
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Life SciencesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
