The preferred location is Spring House, PA or Titusville, NJ with regular commuting to each.

The DPDS Discovery Finance Manager will provide financial and strategic leadership for the Preclinical Sciences & Translational Safety (PSTS) organization, within Discovery, Product Development, and Supply (DPDS), and its global leadership teams.
Key activities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Finance leader on the PSTS global Leadership Team, where candidate demonstrates strategic thinking, provides financial insights, and challenges assumptions relative to key business initiatives and the prioritization and planning of R&D investments.
Lead a team of 2-4 professionals.
Provide coaching and mentoring and create an inclusive environment of professional growth.
Lead Forecast and Actual cycles for PSTS, including long-range financial planning (LRFP), annual business planning, updates, and actual reporting.
Drive the framing and communication of strategy, forecasts, and financial results to Business and Finance leadership.
Support 300MM in annual Operating Expenses, $50MM of Capital Investment.
Lead & participate in ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives.
Collaborate across JRD Finance to drive simplification of finance processes.
Partner across finance (JRD Functions, Therapeutic Areas, Innovation Centers, Business Development) and Discovery business to support external innovation opportunities and strategic investments.
