You will join the department research efforts in the discovery and development of both small molecule therapeutics and biologics for the treatment of cancer. You will be part of a team driving forward research programs across the different stages of pre-clinical drug discovery. Responsibilities include the design, execution and interpretation of studies for the validation and characterization of new targets and therapeutic agents. You will effectively and frequently collaborate with colleagues in the oncology department and antibody development group, as well as present scientific results to multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Include: Design, perform and interpret complex in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo experiments Analyze and present data in professional 'publication ready' format Work independently and lead multiple experiments at a time Contribute to various projects outside of your own, and collaborate with stakeholders from all relevant functions Keep current with the literature related to your field Demonstrate clear and professional verbal and written communication Qualifications Ph.D. with 2-6 years of experience or a B.S./B.A. with 8-16 years of experience, performing progressively advanced duties, or the equivalent training/experience. Strong cell biology and assay development skills are required. A background in immunology or immune-oncology is desirable. Previous experience characterizing the mouse tumor microenvironment and vaccines is desirable. Proficient in cell biology assays that include FACS (required), ELISAs, cell proliferation, Mesoscale, Western blotting, cellular cytotoxicity, immune cell isolation from whole blood or tissues, cell culture, transfection and cloning of stable cell lines, ELIspot, CDC or other functional assays (highly preferred). Ability to graph and analyze data is required Experience working with immune cells is required. Immune cell isolation and characterizing the phenotype of different immune cell populations is highly preferred. Familiarity with Nanostring gene expression profiling and data analysis preferred Personal skills and Competencies: Intellectually curious and well-informed on the latest scientific advances in the field Proven creativity and novel approaches to solving scientific problems Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people, internally and externally Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
